Forget stardust—you are iron. Your blood is nothing but ferrous liquid. When you bleed, you reek of rust. It is iron that fills your heart and sits in your veins. And what is iron, really, unless it’s forged?

You are iron.

And you are strong.

"We started drifting into the bowl cut era," Evans said, referencing his 7th grade picture. "And the clear braces were something special. Can you see this fantastic bead necklace that I have on? For some reason I buttoned the top button [of my denim shirt]. It’s so unacceptable," he continued. "I blame my parents completely. They knew every day this kid was walking out the door and they said, ‘Good luck!’"

It’s not weird to have slightly different personas for different social networks. Selfies fit a micro-blogging format like Tumblr a lot more than they do on facebook where they have the whole photo albums thing

I mean sure, I understand the fact that we all curate our social media platforms differently.  people who use facebook the same way that they use tumblr are disconcerting.  I guess what I’m saying is I feel weird posting even one selfie and like using it as my profile picture.  it took me a while to realize that it was “okay” to use my favorite instagram picture as my facebook profile picture.  I think most of that hesitation is more personal than just the normal way that people use different types of social media.

I think it’s weird that I’m perfectly happy to post selfies here and (less frequently) on instagram but I seriously balk at doing it on facebook unless it’s a hideous snapchat or something
